“In the mood for Love” – commission

Hello Everyone!

For the last few weeks I’ve been working on another commission and now that it’s complete, I have the clients permission to share with all of you!

This request was based on the movie of the same title from 2000 and is a  Hong Kong film directed by Wong Kar-wai, starring Maggie Cheung and Tony Leung.

While at first I thought this movie dark and moody, and wondered if I could recreate it as such, I also found some beautiful and charming elements about the bedroom scene itself, which inspired the end results.

This was so much fun to recreate and the client is extremely pleased!
