Hello Everyone!
I’ve have been asked once again to participate in an on line event hosted by Bradley Justice Yarbrough and The Swell Doll Shop.
Bradley hosts several in person, as well as, on line events throughout the year with benefits to the North Carolina Museum of Dolls, Toys and Miniatures.
This special event “Swell Mystery” is taking place in person (North Carolina, May 5th/6th), but virtually, ALL MONTH LONG! (Beginning May 4th!)
As in the past, the virtual events can be browsed at your leisure and from the comfort of your own home!
The virtual schedule has been posted and it is jam packed with programs, guest speakers, souvenirs, on line shopping, and so much more! And, of course the mystery will be revealed!!
I have created a special set of furnishings that I named “A Swell Suite”, to be raffled off at the end of the month. By donating to the North Carolina Doll Museum, you will get the chance to take home this one of a kind setting for your favorite fashion doll!
The set includes a glamorous 60’s style Sofa upholstered in rustic pink silk dupioni, two silk/brocade pillows, a stylized credenza with sliding glass door, resin figurine, 3 clear goblets, a custom designed “glass” bowl with glass flower design, glass vase with floral blooms and a potted floor plant. (Barbie is modeling and not included)
Proceeds from the raffle go directly to The North Carolina Museum of Dolls, Toys and Miniatures and will benefit their on going wonderful work of preserving memories of childhood and the history of play.
