“Hearts’ Desire”

The idea for this set actually sprang to mind while I was photographing another piece.

I tend to think of the walls that surround Our spaces as another way to incorporate Art, design and texture.

As I do consider all of My work ART, it is doubly so with this set!  For the first time in one of My vignettes, I am including a Mural. I hand painted the design directly on to one of the walls in this set! It is based on a retro print that I found on some vintage bark-cloth fabric. Initially, I wanted to use the fabric to upholster a sofa, but the design was too large.  Loving it so, I kept the image tucked away in a folder, knowing that some how in the future, I was going to incorporate it into My miniature world.

Funny how inspiration works sometimes.

“Hearts’ Desire”

A perfect blend of mid-century style and a touch of glamour! This set consists of two free-standing walls, furnishings and accessories. 

The sofa is upholstered in scrumptious, forest green, silk dupioni . It features tufted back cushions, mid-century styling and tapered legs, and makes a stunning statement against the hand painted Mural wall!

Coral, silk-velvet covers the Lounge Chair! Soft and glamorous against the curved shape of the piece. So inviting! Chair also has tapered legs.

The credenza is a staple piece in any mid-century home. The face of this one features corrugated center with woven fabric panels on either side.  (Panels do not open)

Free Standing Mural wall : Hand painted by Me. Sealed with protective clear coat.

Free standing Window wall : Features pleated velum window valance and textured window “glass”.
