In 1961, Mattel introduced a Boyfriend for their very popular icon – Barbie! In celebration of Ken Carson’s 50th “birthday”, I thought it would be fun to post photos from an article I did for the FDQ Barbie Celebration Issue in 2009.
I re-decorated the original Barbie Dream House just for Ken ! Since Barbie moved on to the New Barbie Dream House in 1965, I felt Ken needed his own bachelor pad. Here are the results.
